Building and Grounds
This committee acts as an advisory committee to the pastor. This committee identifies the physical needs of the parish property, its maintenance and upkeep. It will make recommendations and suggestions as to how the money collected for the Buildings & Grounds maintenance funds should be spent by the parish staff.
Typical maintenance includes:
- Roof
- Floors
- Major Plumbing issues
- Heating & Cooling unit
- Pews
- Other items as determined by Pastor and Parish Council
The committee may meet 4 to 5 times a year or as the need arises. Members of the committee should be versed in areas of construction, building trades and building maintenance.
